Buffalo Meeting Healthcare Minute
» Submitted by buffalo on Thu, 08/06/2009 - 3:38pm.Buffalo Quaker Meeting has approved a minute addressing the issue of Healthcare in America.
Healthcare is a universal need, yet there are severe inequalities in the American system. We are lead to examine this issue from a spiritual perspective. Our goal in writing this minute is to outline certain principles that can guide us to a better Healthcare solution.
We encourage all Friends to consider whether they are led to work toward a Healthcare System that is more just, sustainable, and simplified.

My spiritual life is richer for having been squeezed, like apples for cider, or grapes for wine, in this press of long life. In the process, the immature fruits I began with have become unrecognizable.
